Privacy and cookies.
What we collect when you use this site, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Opportune Studio is the controller of the personal data described on this page: we decide why and how it’s used.
For anything about your data, email [email protected].
When you get in touch
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number and answers about your business, your team, the tools you use, what’s getting in the way and when you’d like to start.
We use them to reply and talk through your project. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries people send us, or taking the steps you ask for before a contract.
The form emails your enquiry to our inbox. It isn’t saved in a database on this site. We keep enquiries for two years after our last contact. If you become a client, project records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually six years.
Keeping the form safe
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the form. To do that, your IP address and browser signals go to Cloudflare.
To stop the form being flooded, the site counts recent sends using a code made from your IP address that changes every day. The counts expire within minutes, and your IP address itself is never stored. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse.
Analytics and cookies
If you accept in the cookie bar, Google Analytics sets two cookies to tell visits apart and show us which pages are useful:
- _ga: a random identifier for your browser. It lasts up to two years.
- _ga_N2WZ7H6D5F: keeps track of your current visit. It lasts up to two years.
If you reject them, or haven’t chosen, nothing is stored on your device. Google’s consent mode still sends basic signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed, which Google uses to estimate visit totals.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics load from this domain through Google’s tag gateway. We don’t use them for advertising, remarketing or personalised ads, and they don’t collect what you type into forms. Google handles this data as our processor under its data processing terms, which cover transfers outside the UK. Our lawful basis is your consent for the cookies, and our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used for the cookieless signals.
Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. You can change it at any time:
Who else handles it
Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the security check and delivers the form’s emails. Google provides the analytics described above. Our email provider holds the enquiries in our inbox. Each acts on our instructions. We don’t sell your data or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it or send it to you in a portable form. You can object to how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
